Instructions for Behavioral Health Professional
1. Review the Activity of Daily Living Self-Sufficiency Panel
What does the behavioral health professional need to do for the Activity of Daily Living Intervention?
The entire Esteem Thrive platform is designed to require zero non-session time and very little of the behavioral health providers time within session, all while providing important information, data and insights to your sessions.
The Academic Performance intervention only requires you to:
Review the session notes to confirm if the parent is up-to-date on completing the assessments
If they are not, simply click “send” and they will both receive a notification task
If the parent is in the session with you, we recommend reviewing the data and trend lines together
This will only take a few minutes of the session time
1. Review the Activity of Daily Living Academic
Performance Panel and Trend-lines
Scroll down to the Activity of Daily Living panel. This panel will provide you with data, information and insights. The Deep Dive section will also reveal trend-lines.
This is the Activity of Daily Living panel clearly displays from a Strengths and Needs point of view the child’s assessment results.
The information in the Activity of Daily Living panel provides the parent or behavioral health provide the ability to choose specific areas or issues to work on first.
Additionally, parents and behavioral health providers are able to track over time how the child is improving in each area.
Within the Activity of Daily Living Deep Dive, you will be able to review the child’s Self Sufficiency growth, progress and development over time.
Remember every child is different and this information is to help inform you of your decisions. We are not prescribing but providing suggestions.
Since Activity of Daily Living are designed to improve daily life’s activities the deep dive provides an opportunity to review specific changes.
The goal is to see the Red Circles move from the bottom of the tree to the top of the tree where they are represented as Green Circles.
You have the ability and we think it is a really good idea to review other areas of the child’s life such as their sleep patterns, medications changes, or other areas tracked within the Esteem Thrive platform to see how the whole child is growing and developing.
2. Provide feedback to Parents
After reviewing the Activity of Daily Living Deep Dive trend-lines you will have the opportunity to direct the parent to stay the course, make changes or introduce other interventions options.
If the parent is struggling in completing the Academic Performance assessment in a timely manner this is a great time to reassure them to do their best in completing the tasks the Esteem Thrive platform initiates.
3. Prepare parents for next session
After reviewing the provided data and insights from the Activity of Daily Living module as well as all of the other modules, you will have the opportunity to encourage parents and clients to employ the home and school interventions you have suggested as part of your treatment plan.
